1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to LibraryBook ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LibraryBook Owner mobile application (the "App") and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our App.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years or older.

2.2 Identity Verification

To register as a library owner, you must provide:

  • Valid PAN (Permanent Account Number) card

  • Valid Aadhaar card

  • Other government-issued identity proof as required

  • Accurate personal and business information

2.3 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

  • All activities that occur under your account

  • Ensuring that all information provided is accurate and up-to-date

  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3. Account Registration and Verification

3.1 Registration Process

To use our Services, you must:

  1. Create an account by providing accurate information

  2. Verify your phone number via OTP

  3. Complete the library registration form with accurate details

  4. Submit required documents (library photos, ID proofs, etc.)

  5. Provide banking information for settlements

3.2 Verification and Approval

  • All library registrations are subject to review and approval by LibraryBook

  • Physical verification of your library will be conducted by our team

  • Verification may take up to 7 business days

  • We reserve the right to approve or reject any registration at our discretion

  • Registration status: Pending, Approved/Verified, or Rejected

  • You will be notified via the App

  • Your library will be listed only after successful verification

3.3 Rejection of Registration

We may reject your registration if:

  • Information provided is inaccurate, incomplete, or fraudulent

  • Documents submitted are invalid or insufficient

  • Eligibility criteria are not met

  • The library does not comply with applicable laws

  • Any other reason deemed appropriate

4. Library Information and Listings

4.1 Multiple Libraries

  • You may register and manage multiple libraries under one account

  • Same credentials and banking details apply

  • Each library requires separate verification

  • There is no limit to the number of libraries

  • All libraries can be managed via a single dashboard

4.2 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate details regarding:

  • Library name, address, and contact details

  • Operating hours and time slots

  • Seat availability and amenities

  • Location coordinates

  • Any other required listing information

4.3 Library Photos and Documents

  • Photos must be clear, current, and representative

  • Documents must be valid and authentic

  • All uploaded content must comply with laws

4.4 Updates and Modifications

  • You must update information promptly if changes occur

  • We may remove or modify inaccurate listings

  • Misrepresentation may result in suspension or termination

5. Bookings and Reservations

5.1 Booking Management

  • You must manage bookings via the App

  • Confirmed bookings must be honored

  • Seat availability must be accurate

5.2 Cancellation and Refund Policy

Student Cancellations

  • Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a non-refundable booking security fee

  • Later cancellations may follow different refund rules

  • Refunds are handled by LibraryBook

Owner Responsibilities

  • You must honor confirmed bookings

  • Owner-initiated cancellations require immediate notification

  • Repeated cancellations may lead to penalties or suspension

5.3 Booking Disputes

  • Disputes must be reported via the App

  • We will investigate and take appropriate action

  • Our decision shall be final

6. Payments and Settlements

6.1 Payment Processing

  • Payments are processed by LibraryBook

  • LibraryBook acts as an intermediary

  • Platform fees apply

6.2 Platform Fees

  • 5% platform fee per booking

  • Automatically deducted from settlements

  • Fee changes will be notified in advance

6.3 Settlement Schedule

  • Settlement cycle: 15–20 days

  • Calculations completed on day 17

  • Funds transferred within 20 days

6.4 Early Withdrawal Requests

  • Minimum withdrawal: ₹500

  • Processing time: 3–5 business days

  • Subject to approval

6.5 Payment Liability

  • Liability limited to settlement of confirmed bookings

  • Disputes must be raised within 30 days

7. Student Queries and Support

7.1 Responding to Queries

  • Responses required within 24 hours

  • Professional conduct is mandatory

  • Poor responsiveness may affect ratings

7.2 Issue Resolution

  • You are responsible for resolving issues

  • We may intervene if required

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

  • Engage in illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive activities

  • Misuse accounts or bypass verification

  • Upload offensive, illegal, or harmful content

  • Interfere with app functionality

  • Manipulate reviews or avoid platform fees

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Our Rights

  • All App content and branding belong to LibraryBook

  • Unauthorized use is prohibited

9.2 Your Content

  • You retain ownership of uploaded content

  • You grant us a license to use it for Services

10. Ratings and Reviews

  • Students may submit reviews

  • You may respond professionally

  • Fake or manipulated reviews may be removed

  • Ratings impact visibility

11. Account Suspension and Termination

11.1 Suspension

We may suspend accounts for violations, disputes, or suspected fraud.

11.2 Termination

Accounts may be terminated for repeated violations, illegal activity, or owner request.

11.3 Account Deletion by Owner

  • All bookings must be completed

  • Settlements must be cleared

  • Deletion completed within 30 days


11.4 Effect of Termination

  • App access revoked

  • Listings removed

  • Settlements processed as per policy


12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • Services provided "as is"

  • No guarantee of uninterrupted access

  • Liability limited to permitted extent under law

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify LibraryBook against claims arising from your use, violations, or library operations.

14. Modifications to Terms

  • Terms may be updated

  • Continued use implies acceptance

15. Dispute Resolution

  • Governed by Indian law

  • Jurisdiction: Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, India

16. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failures beyond reasonable control.

17. Severability

Invalid provisions do not affect remaining terms.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement.

19. Waiver

Failure to enforce does not constitute waiver.
